Background
In addition to our private practice, we have partnered with some West Valley School Districts to offer the Bright Smile Dental Program at fixed dental offices located on school premises. Our goal is to make it easier for your child to see the dentist by making quality dental care available to your children at school. The program has been successful in improving dental health by allowing children to receive necessary dental care without parents having to take time off from work. The Bright Smile Dental Program has been in existence at some school districts for over 20 years.
Parents are always welcome to schedule an appointment for their children and be present at time of evaluation and treatment. We encourage parents to call our office to make an appointment to come meet us and have any additional questions answered.
What we do
A Plus Dental provides children with comprehensive dental care including exams, cleanings, sealants and treatment. Our goal is to ensure each child knows how to care for their teeth and comes to school with a healthy mouth and is ready to learn.
How we do this
Our partnership has resulted in the creation of fixed dental offices at each of the school districts. Children who enroll in this program will have access to dental care at their school. Students are transported to the clinic by the school district. They initially receive preventive services. Once we receive parental consent, follow-up visits are scheduled to treat cavities or address other dental needs. Parents are also welcome to schedule an appointment for their children and accompany them if they so desire.
Eligibility
Any child is eligible to participate in this program. This program is free for children enrolled in AHCCCS or KidsCare - the State of Arizona Medicaid Program. Private insurance or cash is accepted for those not enrolled in AHCCCS or KidsCare.
